Statement from Kevin Nash
January 2, 2002

Due to the wide-spread, often erroneous, rumors on the Internet, Kevin Nash on Wednesday, January 2, 2002 issued the following statement:

First, I have not signed with any wrestling organization. As of Tuesday, though, I became a free agent. Second, regarding the rumor that any interviews I do now have to be cleared by the WWF, that is completely false - and where or how that rumor started, I have no idea. I have not talked to anyone from any radio station, or even been approached, for an interview. I am now down in Florida with my family, and no one even knows how to reach me. 

When I do in fact sign a contract, I will be the first to announce it - not someone else.
